“Industry, built by Young, Garmouth in 1865 and owned at the time of her loss by Norman B. Leslie, Campbelton, was a British wooden schooner of 91 tons.
On September 5th, 1917, Industry, on a voyage from Granville to Swansea in ballast, was sunk by the German submarine UC-42 (Hans Albrecht Müller), 20 miles northwest of the Hanois lighthouse, Guernsey. There were no casualties.”
