The Village Hall is in need of a thorough clean, as well as some
redecoration, and minor maintenance work. The hall committee would
like to coordinate a hall clean supported by as many hall users and
groups as possible.
We propose that volunteers choose from a list of jobs to be done and
arrange with hall keyholders to gain access at a convenient time,
ideally working in groups of two or more.
The attached list is not exhaustive and can be added to as other items
requiring attention are noted . Please feel free to add your own -
those areas that annoy you and you would like tidied up or fixed.
A master copy list will be maintained on the hall notice board - in the rear entrance lobby.
Please sign those areas you have done and/or add notes on any others you plan to do with dates and times.
A big thank you must go to Mike Nunns and June and David Mackay who have volunteered a lot of their time recently in decorating the anteroom and rear lobby and preparing for and clearing up after the installation of new carpets, cooker, sink and work top.
Please remember the village hall committee is made up of volunteers dedicated to maintaining the hall for the use of all local people. The hall has only a small level of funds (even less than some of the groups who use the building) By using volunteers the hall committee can keep costs down and make the hall a more pleasant and attractive community building.
Many thanks for your support in the past. We hope you can help with some of the cleaning and maintenance work now required.
For more information please contact David or June on
Or myself on 870328
Yours Sincerely
Fiona Palmer
