Garmouth and Kingston Tots Group meets every Friday between 10.15 and 12.15. We are a friendly bunch and would like to extend an invitation to any parents or carers of pre-school children to join us.
Tots is held in the Parish Hall, which provides a light and airy, safe environment in which your children can play with our wide range of toys. This is a great opportunity for your tiddly peeps to socialise and also provides the grown ups with a chance to relax and chat about the trials and tribulations, sorry, I mean delights, of childcare. (We don’t put restrictions on conversational topics, we often talk about things that have nothing to do with children or childbirth, honest we do!!!) This is a very informal group, there is no shame in arriving at 11.00 without having put on make up or even brushed your hair! Homemade (mostly!) treats for the adults are provided on a rota basis as we have long ago come to the conclusion that life is much easier after a cup of coffee and an unfeasibly large piece of cake. The children are also given a snack which generally keeps them quiet and occupied for at least ten minutes. Expectant Mums are also very welcome (we do like to try to recruit the kids early!).
