Fantastic use of the paper/cardboard bank over the year-end holiday, with great help from The Moray Council Environmental Services who emptied it for us three times in the week between Christmas and New Year. It was hard to keep up with your enthusiasm! |

Prior to the start of January meeting, Mrs Williams and Mrs Staid expressed extreme concern to the Committee regarding the flooding of Burnside road and the back gardens of houses in Lein road. They, and other residents feel that they are entitled to some form of protection against in undulation. The Committee said that it is aware of the flooding, which is historical. Support was offered, and proposals made that random sample tests should be taken to ascertain if there is any pollution in the water. The Chair thanked the Ladies for bringing the matter to the Committee’s attention. |

Spring is here again and we have had several new children start with our groups since Christmas. A warm welcome to them all. In recent weeks our playgroup children have been making bird cakes to continue feeding the birds in their gardens until the warmer weather is with us, as well as bringing home Chocolate coins in red envelopes following the Chinese New Year.

Garmouth and Kingston Tots Group meets every Friday between 10.15 and 12.15. We are a friendly bunch and would like to extend an invitation to any parents or carers of pre-school children to join us.
