In what is always a difficult game, Mosstodloch played away to West End on Saturday 20th.

Mosstodloch created a lot of opportunities to score, but it was one of those days when the the ball simply didn't want to go in the net, and in the end the final result of  West End 6-2 Mosstodloch  didn't reflect the closeness of the game overall.

The Mosstodloch School team took part in the annual Moray Primary Schools Soccer Sevens Challenge Cup in Forres on 14th June.

The boys played really well together, and went through their group stages undefeated to reach the quarter finals where they met the schools league champions Greenwards.

The quarter final was an extremely close run game with Mosstodloch having the upper hand for most of it, but two late goals from Greenwards saw the match finish Mosstodloch 0 - 2 Greenwards.

After the game the team gave a cheer of thanks for their Manager Mike Murdoch, who put in a lot of time in coaching and organising their matches this year.

The boys should be proud of the football they played during the season, not just the quality of their play, but the good natured spirit in which they played it, which was exemplary.
